Areas of Practice: Dr. Nadia Khan is interim Head of General Internal Medicine and Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Khan has published over 100 peer review papers, and holds the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Career Scientist award. Her research interests include sex/gender/ethnic impact of cardiovascular disease, health services as well as hypertension, diabetes, and stroke. Dr. Khan is co-director of the Hypertension Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital and is an American Society of Hypertension Clinical Specialist in Hypertension. She is President of Hypertension Canada, and is a council member of the International Society of Hypertension.
